What we offer:
Payrate: $35.24/hour
Shift Premiums: 2nd/3rd shift = $1.00/hour.
Unionized facility with 180-day probationary period.

Responsibilities:
Perform inspection of complex castings, forgings, and in-process
and completed product to verify conformance to requirements.
Accurately document nonconformances that are found during
inspections.
Accurately record all data as required on records, logs, data
sheets, routings, sketches, and reworks.
Perform first piece inspection to verify that manufacturing process
meets blueprint specifications.
Be able to work from written procedures, operation sketches,
blueprints, assembly prints, routings, and reworks.
Must be able to accurately use a wide variety of complex inspection
devices such as plates, comparators, verniers, jo-blocks, snap
gages, mics, and electronic indicators.
Perform necessary mathematical calculations to validate/verify
dimensional relationship and accuracy.
Must have the ability to work an off shift (2nd shift: 3:00pm to
11:00pm and/or 3rd shift: 11pm to 7am)
Ability to work in a diverse team environment with both hourly and
salary employees and communicate effectively.
Must have the ability to pass the Alloy Identity Certification.
Must have the ability to be certified for the walky stacker and be
able to use a hoist.
Minimum Qualifications:
Two (2) years of experience of Inspection on precision hardware,
completion of an accredited training program will be
considered.
Have a high school diploma or GED equivalence.
Meet required vision standard.
Perform mathematical calculations to validate and verify
dimensional relationships (including math skills through
trigonometry).
Thorough understanding of ANSI Y14.5.(Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerance)
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, procedures, and
work instructions.
Possess skills necessary to maintain accurate documentation of
inspection data.
Possess sufficient computer skills.
Pass all applicable visual/dimensional written and operational
examinations.
Use a variety of complex inspection devices.
Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable written and operation
examinations.
Ability to obtain and maintain all applicable certifications.
The starting rate for this position in Ohio (US-OH) is $35.24 per
hour. The total compensation package for this position may also
include a full range of medical, retirement and/or other benefits.
